Card.

Here is a card i made using the Spiced cider papers from Stampin up. I saw the pattern for the card on splitcoast stampers. I made the flower using the scallop circle punch, I just curled them over to make funnels then stuck them to a circle base. The card base is sage shadow and I have used very vanilla grosgrain ribbon.

Friends Scrapbook page

I have finally done some scrapbooking, it seems like such a long time since I did a layout I really enjoyed it and the page only took me minutes to make once I had cut all the flowers out.

We are having another quiet day today, well I am, the girls are going somewhere with Pete. I think I am coming down with something yucky as everything is aching especially my throat so I will be taking it easy.

Have a good Sunday.

Diddy little gift box.

Hi all,
Have you had loads of snow today?
We didn't get hardly any at all, I was really hoping for loads of snow even though it is a bit silly hoping for cold weather when the heating system has broken down. It has been sooo cold here today that I felt like a medieval reenactor living in a open windowed castle Lol. We should be back up and running tomorrow (Oh the luxury of warm rooms) it has certainly made me think about all the people who are on the streets at this time of year, I will defo find where our nearest homeless shelter is and take them a couple of bags of food now and then. I kept busy all day to take my mind off the cold and made this little gift box. I have used the Vellum cardstock, its the first time I've used it and it is lovely. I scalloped the edges using the new fiskars punch that I got from capture the magic this week, then inked the edges with rose red and wrapped a piece of taffeta ribbon in choc chip. The Rollo's have now all gone so i will have to find something else to put in it Lol.

Red Valentines card.

Hi All,

A real quick one tonight as I am off out to an Ann Summers party of all things. Alison my fellow demo has told me that I have to go or else, not sure how Michelle managed to avoid it. (could have been the fact that she has a Stampin up party tonight, nice timing Michelle)

I have used Real Red and whisper white cardstock, the So Swirly Roller some black ribbon, a prima flower and a heart that I made from stickles. I got the idea for the heart from the papermaze blog and it was so simple to make but very effective.

See ya soon.

Mini Card.

Hi all,

I've been making some cards tonight while watching Indiana Jones with my girls. I forgot how much fun those film are and how nice Harrison Ford was to look at. Anyway back to business, I thought you might like to see one of them.

I have used Regal Rose, Pretty in Pink and Whisper White cardstock and have run the p.i.p through an embossing folder. I cut the ovals with my nestabilities and stamped with a heart from A Little bit of Happiness a level 1 hostess set. I have finished off a piece of ribbon with a strip of paper from Sweet Always and added some pearls and a prima flower.

Off now to finish watching Indie, it's a hard life. tfl

Post it note holder.

Hi everyone.

Here is a lovely little post it note holder that is an ideal thank you pressie, it would also be brilliant as a teachers gift or to sell at gift fairs.

1, Cut 2 pieces of cardboard to 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 and one piece to 3 1/2 x 6/16.

2, Stick cardboard pieces onto Chocolate chip cardstock as in picture and trim then ink edges.

3, Cut piece of DSP to 3 1/2 x 7 1/2 and apply to cardboard to make the inside of the booklet (I used Sweet Always). I find it easier to stick the paper and fold the booklet at the same time. Trim off excess and ink again.

4, Stick a piece of Chocolate chip taffeta ribbon to the outside.

5, Cut 2 pieces of regal rose to 3 1/4 x 3 1/4 and run through an embossing folder, I used my lovely new one from Sizzix.

6, Decorate one piece for the front of the booklet. Stick these into place and glue the post it notes and the calendar to the inside. Tie your bow and you are finished.

Hope you like it. tfl.
